Conventional Radiation

• Commonly used for Stage III Lung cancer
• Can treat a larger area of the lung
• Does not correct for movement

Surgery

• Historical standard of care for early lung cancers and for diagnosis
• Outcomes of early stage lung cancer treated with Cyberknife are being reported as equivalent to surgery
• Requires hospitalization with chest tubes and anesthesia
