Educational and Myth-Busting Dinner at The Pines
New Jersey CyberKnife rounded out the month of August by partnering with The Pines, a senior living community located in Whiting, New Jersey, to sponsor an educational dinner program for residents.
New Jersey CyberKnife Medical Director, David D’Ambrosio, M.D., and Eric Lehnes, M.D., an OB/GYN physician affiliated Ocean Gynecological & Obstetrical Associates, spoke to residents on the important topic of “Healthcare Myths: What You Thought You Knew” and the falsehoods that effect both men and women.
Dr. Lehnes spoke about myths specifically related to women’s healthcare and Dr. D’Ambrosio spoke specifically about common prostate cancer myths and potential treatment options. Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer among American men, and lots of information is available regarding prostate diagnosis, prevention, and treatment. Knowing the truth is vital toward living a happy and healthy life. NJCK’s mission is to provide the proper education and most effective healthcare. CyberKnife’s approach to prostate treatment is rooted in the desire to maximize a patient’s well-being. Not only is treatment painless and non-invasive, but requires less time spent at appointments.
Health and cancer education is extremely important, especially later in life. More information about Dr. D’Ambrosio and treatment options can be found on our website or by calling (732) 557-3120. Learn more about Dr. Lehnes and his work at https://www.oceangynob.com/main/eric-lehnes-md.aspx.
