New Jersey CyberKnife Hosts Women’s Health Night

New Jersey CyberKnife and Community Medical Center recently hosted a Women’s Health Night.  The free community was held at Harrogate Senior Living in Lakewood, New Jersey and included dinner and several speakers discussing topics related to women’s health including preventative care, screening recommendations, and much more.

The speakers featured at the event were David D’Ambrosio M.D., Medical Director at New Jersey CyberKnife, Sumy H. Chang, M.D., breast surgeon at Community Medical Center, and Eric Lehnes M.D., OB/GYN at Ocean Gynecological and Obstetrical Associates.  Dr. Chang and Dr. D’Ambrosio presented on breast cancer treatment options as they relate to surgery and radiation and Dr. Lehnes discussed ten healthcare myths for women.  New Jersey CyberKnife’s clinical breast navigator, Kathe Wright, RN, was also on hand and helped answer questions from the audience.

The event was a huge success with 80 people in attendance.  New Jersey CyberKnife was proud to co-sponsor such a fun and informative event that helped raise awareness about the health issues women in our communities face.
